May BookHaul :)

Hey Guys, I have been so good about buying books and literally reading my own damn books for like 2 months. I decided it was time to….

parks and recreation parks and rec donna treat yo self treatyoself reactions happy parks and recreation tom haverford donna meagle

*Side-note: Parks and Rec are life 🙂 *

I went to my local bookstore and thrift shop and stumbled upon 9 very beautiful and Intriguing. I have like 3 that I am most excited  about and the others that just caught my attention, I had to bring them home with me 🙂

These are the books and forgive me for my not so professional photo 🙂

I am most excited about:

by Claire North ( Time Travel, Science Fiction, Historical fiction)

by  Annie Proulx (Pulitzer Prize winner 1994, National Book Award 1993, Contemporary, Literary fiction)

by Kate Atkinson (Excited for this because it is the third book in the Jackson Brodie crime series)

The other books are the ones I stumbled upon and can’t wait to try them 🙂

by  Johnston McCulley ( I mean I loved Zorro as a kid and I can’t believe there is a book, definitely gonna try it out 🙂 )

by Diane Duane (Young Adult, Fantasy, Fiction, Super Excited)

by  K.J Parker ( Fantasy, High fantasy, been meaning to read more in this genre)

by  Kim Hunter ( Fantasy)

Those are all the books I bought hope I get to them soon. Thanks for reading 🙂

  1. Love the treat yo’self reference. Parks & Rec is an awesome show (but The Office will always be #1 in my book).
Anyway, that’s a pretty impressive haul! The only one I’ve read was So You Want to Be a Wizard and that was when I was in middle school. I remember loving it though, so I hope you enjoy it. 🙂

  2. I have Harry August on my to-read pile! Will look forward to finding out what you think about it. I got some birthday money too, so may be doing the same as you and heading off to add a few books to the pile too.

  3. I just finished Harry August and it was one of those that I liked, yet was slightly irritated with at the same time! I know, I make no sense. Maybe I just suck at understanding time! Anyway, can’t wait to read your thoughts on it!
