What! Another Book Haul :0

I know, I recently just bought books but hear me out 🙂 This week I was anticipating a book in my mail so I went to the post office but it was empty

I decided to walk around thrift shops to sort of fill the void that is in my heart 🙂 It got so good really fast… You know that feeling when you finally go into a bookstore and just…

I was excited and just happy all round, my soul was at rest and the first book I ran into was kind of a special one because I heard a lot about it and I had to have it. Also the book is stunning 🙂

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly

Genre: Fantasy, Young Adult

This is one dark book, about books with creepy dark whispers and the adventures of one boy who has experienced loss and a devastating life 🙂

Honestly I am excited for this one, I can also share this book with my young sister.

 

 

 

After that I was not about to go home, I wanted my soul to be satisfied and I felt like I could get a good book today and boy was I right 🙂 I found 2 books for 1 dollar!

The Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon ( Genre: Thriller, Fantasy, Historical Fiction)

&

The Silence of the Lambs and Red Dragon by Thomas Harris(Genre: Horror, Mystery, Suspense)  🙂

My Soul was complete I have been wanting to get to these two for so long!!! They were literally on my wishlist 🙂 Both are sort of thrillers but one is set in Spain and The other one is sort of a modern classic about  psychopaths 🙂 Honestly I was sure I would go home after those amazing finds…

I decided to pay a visit to the next store, so it doesn’t feel left out 🙂 I got another 2 books for so cheap and I was finally pleased with the day 🙂

I have been looking for this special edition of the book and the book gods granted me my wish. It is supposed to cover the effects of 9/11 and coping with death from a perspective of a young boy. The inside looks so cool with different formats, I literally just want to stare at it all day 🙂

 

 

 

Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell 

Pumped for this one!!

Genre: Science Fiction, Historical Fiction and Modern Classic

This is one of those book that literally everyone should try in their lifetime and I am about to try it 🙂 I have heard people say a lot of things about this one but I am super excited!

I hope to get to it soon 🙂

 

 

 

Overall it was a good week, especially when it involves books. I am still anticipating a special book in the mail and when I get it you bet your ass I am going to show you guys because you are obviously here for the books 🙂

Before I forget I also got two book to show you, yes they came when I had just posted my June Book Haul(Here) They are also on my most anticipated books but they were expensive to get. I got Hardcovers for super cheap and they are both by one of my favorite writers ever… without further rumblings 🙂

Doctor Sleep by Stephen King (Sequel to The Shining)

Mr Mercedes by Stephen King (#1  Bill Hodges Series) 

Yes!!!! *Scream Internally*

Genre: Crime, Fiction, Thriller, Mystery

With the final release of this series this year, my goodreads was blowing up with glorious reviews and I felt bad as a King fan not to have started the series. Now I have no excuses and my soul is ready for this 🙂

It will be tricky to find the rest of the series but I am sure they will turn up but I am definitely ready to start this one 🙂

 

 

 

As I had previously mentioned in my previous Haul, my book buying habits have changed. I only go for books I know without a doubt I will devour and like. It is always a joy to just go browsing for books but it’s even better when you come across books that make you drool.
